According to a family source who spoke to ETimes, Sunita sent a separation notification a few months ago, but nothing noteworthy has happened since.

An old statement made by Sunita on extramarital affairs has reappeared online amid these rumours. In a throwback interview with Hautterfly, Sunita shared a rather unfiltered take on extramarital affairs, offering a piece of blunt advice to women. She said, “Haath jod ke public mein bolti hoon, radio ko aur biwio ko—zindagi mein apne boyfriend aur husband ko yeh mat bolna, ‘Mera boyfriend yaa mera kuch karta nahi.’ Karega na toh itni buri tarah, sorry for my language, itna buri tarah hugta hai, itni buri jagah hugega na, nikalte-nikalte 2 saal lag jaayenge, lekin vo saali nikalegi nahi. Ap life se nikal jaoge, lekin nikalti nahi hai vo item.”

Govinda Reacts To Separation Rumours

Govinda spoke about the speculations and said, “These are only business talks going… I am in the process of starting my films.” However, his manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged that there have been issues between the couple.

Sinha told ETimes, “There have been issues between them due to certain statements made by some family members. There is nothing more to it, and Govinda is in the process of starting a film. We are trying to resolve it.”

Sunita’s announcement last month that she and Govinda do not live together fueled the flames. She said the star lives in a cottage across from their apartment, while she lives in a flat with their kids. When Sunita stated that she used to feel safe in their marriage, that feeling has since diminished, she was hinting at the widening gaps in their union.
